This sweet girl decided to give her parents quite a scare. Her mama didn't get to experience the natural childbirth that she had prepared for. Nor did baby girl get to come home a day or two after she was born like most babies do. But after waiting, worrying, and lots of praying, her amazing parents were finally able to bring home the beautiful, perfect little girl that they had dreamed of. I feel so blessed to have been a small part of their journey by photographing their new love and and bonding moments as a family of three. (Take a look at the session we did when baby was still inside of her Mama's belly here.)

Waiting https://dionsenecaphotography.zenfolio.com/blog/2016/3/waiting It is always such an anxious and exhilarating time when you are waiting for a baby to join your family. Not knowing the sex of the baby makes the wait even more exciting. During Natalie's maternity photo session, she was experiencing frequent and predictable contractions. I think we were all hoping that the baby would decide to arrive that day so that I could be there to capture the birth. Unfortunately the baby was not quite ready and decided to make us all wait a little bit longer.

New Year, New Blog https://dionsenecaphotography.zenfolio.com/blog/2016/2/new-year-new-blog It's a new year, and I've declared 2016 as the "Best Year Ever!" I am so excited to capture the connection and emotion of many new families through the lens of my camera this year. I am giddy to show them how beautiful their lives are every day...not just on picture day. My new Day in the Life Sessions are so special to me, and I can't wait to share more of them with you. For now you can take a look at the H family here
